Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. Most pizzas at Pizza Hut are high in sodium and hence you must stick to one or max. two slices of any regular size pizza to limit your sodium intake. Try out the salads as they are not only healthy but also keeps you full for a longer period. However, you must ensure that you don't order the salads without any extra dressing.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Amazing food and service. I ordered a pizza and wings for delivery. Wings were hot and crispy and delicious, pizza has a great amount of toppings and tastes fresh and arrived hot, the way pizza is supposed to be. I called in my order and was helped by Joey. Friendly and even offered me an extra 10% off... I don't know why? Maybe because I was referred by the hotel or that I am here for work? Greatly appreciated and NOT forgotten. That is how you keep people coming back. Thank you! I will order this pizza again, no doubt about that. Oh, and it was here within 30 minutes and arrived with plates, all the sauces I ordered, cheese and red peppers. Kudos!

Omg. Omg. Omg! I read the reviews and wow! So the location is weird and the inside is kind of ehhhhh but omg! The owner is ridiculously nice and there is an ENTIRE VEGAN MENU. We got the garlic knots, per everyone's suggestion and so glad I did. They found the perfect dough, or made it, rather. Also shared a vegan calzone - spinach, mushrooms, peppers, garlic, black olives, daiyafoods mozzarella in amazingly perfectly cooked crispy outside soft inside dough with ridiculously good marinara sauce for dipping. Also got a spinach, garlic, tomato vegan pie with daiyafoods mozzarella. There were so many options though so it was hard to make a decision but I'm so glad we got what we did. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Reasonably priced and hefty portions.

Joey and crew put together a good tasting pizza and they've always been very friendly. However, the prices are just too high for what you're getting now in my opinion. They upped the prices a few months ago which is understandable but now they've reduced the size as well. What used to be the large is now the XL, so you're paying the same price for a large, but you're getting a smaller pizza when you order the large. With that being said, I still think they make a good pizza, but we'll be looking for cheaper options in the future.

Can I just say... Yum?! I loved the pizza place on 215/Flamingo that had these custom pizzas and now I found a replacement :) The Pizza Company offers vegan and gluten free options, and the employees were very helpful. I ordered a traditional crust, with vegan cheese ($2.00 more) and also vegan sausage and chicken. The vegan sausage is definitely the way to go! Really great service and some good pizza... It was a lot of food so I ate it over two days :)

Driving by this place and stopped in for lunch thankfully I did the pizza was great as well as the service will definitely be back!

The pizza is excellent!! The owner is so friendly. The location is weird but my kids enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. We'll be coming here every time we are in Vegas. Ü

  • Scarlet G.

We got a 14" pepperoni pizza I'd say it feeds 3 people. The pizza was good just needs more sauce and the crust was a bit hard. We liked it plus its close to the airport. Prices are good and afordable. The staff was super friendly I'd give them 5 stars but the crust kinda took it away. Still recommend it!!!!

  • Nichole B.

Vegan food is crazy delicious! And the sauce is top notch. Friendly people. We'll be back for sure!!!

This place is awesome, ive tried several of their pizzas and all of them have been delicious. You must try the Garlic Fries, they were spectacular. The staff is super friendly, you really do get treated like family. If you have a concern about the traffic, remember they deliver!

So I haven't wrote a review on here in a LONNNNNNNGGGGG time (I'm talking like FOREVER, do you see how old my elite status is?). So let's call out that this food was so terrible I had to write one this instant. My roommate and I have ordered from all over the place in our little 89014 area. Joes Philly, Super Pizza, Napolis, and none were great, this one though, just bleh! They use some sorta seasoning on there that we couldn't get passed, one slice and trashed the large pizza. The fingers reminded me of something left out for hours and hours, put in the fridge, and then microwaved (I know what this is like because I do this often). Even though I do it, I don't want it to taste like that upon arrival! The cheesy fries, or FRIES I should just call them, lacked any more than 1oz of cheese and to top it off they were cold, bleh! Fried zucchini was meh, and so were the cannolis. The one good thing, and the reason why this has two stars and not was is the ranch! I'm a ranch connoisseur and I'm always searching, this is great, not vinegar based! Let me also mention I told the people I needed to break a hundred, yet they didn't communicate it with the driver. So it was pennies on then dollar on my WASTE of 50 bucks or I gathered quarters for him; which I did, because I used to be a driver myself and didn't want to be a jerk. You can see photos of this hot mess on EAT24 as well as my not happy comments. Overall- never, ever again Pizza Company!

Had a vegan pizza, vegan garlic knots, vegan cheesecake and a basket of fries and it was honestly one of the best pizza places I've been to. On top of that, I didn't feel like crap after eating all that food because you can tell that the food's been made fresh. The manager was very friendly and nice, and have excellent customer service. Will definitely be coming back to this place very soon.

  • Gracie Z.

Vegan pizza was good! It would have been better if I had ate it there instead of taking it home cuz it was a far drive. I was informed of a delivery service I could try next time so that was cool and helpful:) will definitely order again.

  • Jerry Y.

Good pizza and outstanding service. These guys act like they own the place...maybe they do. Found them on yelp and glad I did. Decent price, good food and great service! Who could ask for more?

I reeeeeeaaaallllly love this place for all my pizza style-cheat day-dough-craving needs. We order a 16" vegan with very light on the cheese, mushrooms, kalamata olives and fresh basil. *disclosure* I can not stand Daiya cheese :) I just avoid the cheese when I ordering it and sometimes I leave it off all together. We always order a full order of vegan garlic knots and WOW it's honestly my fav part because I love love love garlic, the more the better. Next time I order a pizza from here I need to get garlic on the pizza too :) I will disclose that their sauce is a little bland...I think I'm just accustom to my own sauce that I simmer all day and use fresh herbs. I just like a punch of intense flavors and their sauce does not have that. Their side salad it always fresh mixed greens and their in house balsamic is amazing. I always dip the pizza crust in it because it's just that yummy. If you want pizza and you like a Slice of Vegas....(ick and overpriced) you will be hooked on the Pizza Company. It's just better. Hands down...it's better. Oh and this place is a real deal! I think with we order all three items the total is $24? Wow what a steal. My friend said their vegan pastas, rolls and other items are amazing. I'm just not that into ordering pasta when ordering out so I don't think I can see myself ordering the pasta.

I'm still eating and writing this review... I travel a lot for work and prefer not to rent a car, so when I'm out, it's hard for me to find good places within a reasonable walking/cab distance. And I'm vegan... so it makes it double hard! When I saw that a pizza place offers a vegan option I was all about it. I ordered the vegan garlic knots and the vegan "roll"... holy cow. It's not bland, the flavors are great and the roll is so much food, it's too much to eat! Some reviews I've read said the crust isn't great, but on the roll, I was really impressed. Thanks Pizza Co.! You made a happy, full girl outta me! Update 9/2015. I was back in Vegas for work and I called Pizza Co. I didn't have the menu in front of me but by my phone number they were able to pull my previous order. Talk about customer service! Also, I needed it delivered at a specific time and they were able to, even during the evening rush. Again, a satisfied, full girl!

  • Jennifer S.

I loved Pizza Company! It's great when a restaurant has clearly marked vegan options, my favorite was the vegan roll. The best part was the service, the owner and all the associates were very friendly and helpful and looked like they take pride in what they do and enjoy it. I feel like the location is not the best, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. A better location could help improve the atmosphere but overall great food and service!

  • Alyssa V.

If you want whole ingredients and delicious pizza, The Pizza Company should be your go to. I'm in love! All the ingredients are nice and even and the crust is bomb. You can't go wrong. Mmm... my belly is so happy. :)

I was craving desserts and came across this place with its 4 star rating, but not ordering sweets from them again. I ordered the tiramisu, cannoli, and vegan brownie. The tiramisu arrived frozen, so I was disappointed since that's what I was craving most. I've had better tiramisu. It had too much cream and not enough biscotti. My cannoli was good, but it was more like a half cream filled cannoli. It seemed they were rushing and just gave small squirts on the ends of the cannoli. The vegan brownie had a sweet and salty taste and was also okay, but very pricey for the little size I paid. Hey, maybe their pizza is excellent. I will let you know and give it a second review.

Best vegan pizza in vegas! All handmade and the best customer service! Been here several times and it NEVER disappoints.

    (5)
  • Beckie L.

Decent pizza, super nice staff, I'd totally go back of I'm ever in the area! It was on the pricey side for pizza, but I understand that they aren't a huge franchise and probably can't keep the prices low. I appreciate small businesses.

  • Lesley C.

Amazing vegan options. Vegan pizza, garlic knots, calzone, stromboli, sandwich, brownie, and more. I've only had their vegan pizza, but it really hits the spot. My non-vegan friend LOVED the brownie. (And he's extremely skeptical of vegan food). The employees there are also really nice! The first time I went there, I accidentally left my purse. When I called them, they had kept my purse behind the counter, and were really considerate about it. Love this place!!

  • Sir-Elton S.

Super happy with my experience here. Called in an order 10 minutes before closing expecting the employees to be unhappy.... Instead we had the pleasure of dealing with Joey who owns the place. He was extremely happy and pleased to help up. We ordered a large cheese pizza with a side of knots. The crust was cooked to perfection and the pizza was simply amazing. Not an ounce of grease on or under the pizza. The ranch was homemade and delicious. Nothing worse than a good pizza served with hidden valley ranch - not here!! I will definitely be back to this place to try some other options. They have vegan options for those interested. A++++ can't wait to eat again.

  • Ana A.

Owner was friendly and food was awesome. The garlic knots was light and fluffy in the inside and crispy on the outside. I ordered the white pizza and was awesome, especially with the fresh basil on top.you can tell the owner ,Joey, really cares about his food and customers. The pizza crust was on point and tasty with thwur housemade ranch. This place is a little hidden, so be careful not to miss it =).

  • Olga G.

Two words: garlic knots. So darn good. And the pizza was great too. They have Daiya cheese for vegans. Not to mention, the owner is a wonderful person, big smile, super-friendly and nice, hard worker.

Great pizza place! I always get pizza here. Always so good-love the cheeseness. Fresh ingredients, and nice people working. I also have had great pasta, and sandwiches and desserts in the past. The owner really puts care in his business-keep it goin! :)

Always skeptical about new vegan places, but was extremely happy.... Our server was beyond friendly, helpful, and attentive... We loved the pizza and the pasta.... 2 dishes had enough to share, and enough leftovers... Definitely will come again soon!

The Pizza Co. is a great little restaurant with excellent customer service and delicious food! I stopped in after work and was greeted by 2 very friendly and outgoing owners. They made me feel really welcome and comfortable right away. I ordered a small pizza and salad that were awesome. Everything tasted fresh and you can tell they use quality ingredients, I just wish the pizza had a little more cheese cause it was really good. The salad was made with fresh greens not iceberg lettuce and even came with garlic knots..yummy! They kept checking with me to make sure everything was good and even gave me a couple of cannolis for free because it was my first time there. The food was delicious and the service unusually excellent. We will definitely be going back. If you want great quality pizza and great service, go to The Pizza Co.

Vegan pizza is hard to find and GOOD VEGAN PIZZA is even harder to find. & the Pizza Company has PHENOMENAL VEGAN PIZZA! The dough and the sauce and the cheese and the fresh veggies are extremely tasty! Also, the vegan garlic knots and the vegan baked ziti were also super yummy! So happy this place is down the street from me because I'm addicted!!!

  • Katie C.

I was surprised to see that they had vegan options, I ordered 3 vegan burgers with fries and their vegan brownie. It was so good! I am glad that I found this little place. The food is so yummy! And the owner is really nice and helpful. I've been back 3 times and I love it! It has the small family business feeling and the owner is really nice. My whole family likes this place now too!

  • David I.

Totally mediocre at best. we have tried it twice and its dry and laking in flavor. Maybe if your order the vegan option, its ok but if you want big, bold flavor...Try elsewhere. In a pizza town like this, we won't go back.

  • Kenzie W.

Read all the reviews on yelp, figured this place would be great. Nope not all. Maybe if your Vegan but I don't have my pizza that way. The shop could have been a lot cleaner. Had Junk laying around the back. The staff was friendly but felt rushed when making my order. Got a supreme pizza and salad. The pizza was alright tasting but nothing great at all. Had a pool of water/grease underneath it. Made the dough taste gross. Salad was nothing better then the bag kind you can buy at the store. My husband was fine but I did have a upset stomach all night afterwards. Not worth the 25 bucks for it.

Pizza Company is the best pizza I have had in Vegas so far. The owner is super friendly and the pizza speaks for itself. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza

    (5)
  • Jacob C.

No way this place gets 4 stars. The best thing about this pizza is the price - and you get what you pay for. We got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and the pepperoni bites. Both were bland and pretty tasteless. Costco pizza is way better, heck a Digionos would blow this one away. Skip it and save your money.

Great little hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. Great lunch deals and pizza is New York style thin and tasty. Love to put a little oregano on it and fold. Check out the $1 slice Monday lunch special!

Best vegan pizza in Vegas!! My favorite is vegan cheese topped with fresh garlic and pineapple... Cannot go wrong with that combination! Pizza Company makes it PERFECT, and with their tasty dough and sauce, they blow all the other places out of the water!! The staff are always friendly, as well, and that's something that I really appreciate.

Just wanted to say that these guys are awesome every time I order from them. They know my name, are always friendly and even indulge my little idiosyncrasies... (I like the jalapeños diced up instead of sliced.) Thanks guys for always being so rad and making the best pizza in Vegas! *I highly recommend the Hawaiian with jalapeños, garlic knots and the house made ranch is delicious!!

  • Ignacio A.

These reviews must be fake because the food was disgusting! My wife took her first bite of the Hawaiian Pizza and she spit it out right away and complained that the pizza tasted like rubber. Even Little Caesars is better than this pizza. We ordered a large half pineapple and ham and half pepperoni, chicken Alfredo, mozzarella sticks, the pesto salad and a Coke. I ordered Italian dressing with the salad and that tasted like pink watery oil. The only thing we finished (which includes 3 kids that would usually eat anything) was the soda. I hope I don't wake up with diarrhea!! What a waste of $65.00!

  • Jenna C.

Delicious! Very fresh and NON-greasy! I had a medium Margherita and medium Antipasti salad. They even threw in a couple of the very popular garlic knots to try. Yum!! Will def order from here again. Online ordering as well...perfect for lazy Sunday!

The pizza was great, I ordered a alfredo chicken pizza and cheese garlic bread. I must say it's different from what I normally have in Chicago and it's definitely different than your favorite pizza chain. Everything seemed fresh and host was friendly enough, though a bit deserted on a weekend lunchtime, it's a small place, just enough for 20-25 people, but worth a try. And yes, the menu is pretty economical too.

  • Anthony F.

Just discovered this place, but apparently they've been around for 3 years here in Vegas. Warm, friendly, attentive service. Pizza was excellent - I had a slice of sausage and a slice of pepperoni on the lunch special. Crust was crispy, sauce had flavor but no acidic bite, pepperoni and sausage were flavorful but not overpoweringly spicy. Plenty of all toppings. Good pizza with good flavor, no flavors or spices overpowered any others - harmonious. Great under-$5 lunch at a local joint.

  • Sasha N.

Nice view of the planes taking off, and very nice people. I had the cheese and margarita selection and cannoli. The pizza wasn't bad, but nothing I would crave. The cannoli shell was not super fresh tasting, not rancid or anything and just was a bit dense and lacked the crunch I normally like. The filling was nice though. The one extra special thing this place offers is a vegan pizza.

Best East Coast Pizza in Vegas by far! The service is fantastic, delivery is super quick and its easy to order online. Seriously order from this place, you wont be dissapointed! Love, The Jersey Girls

Been there once with hubby. We had vegan baked ziti and garden salad. It was very good and the staff was particularly pleasant. Pros: +vegan options including vegan pizza, veggie burger, and vegan baked ziti +reasonable prices +friendly staff Cons: -delivery zone must be small (we live close but aren't in the delivery zone) -hole in the wall location, no place to take a client or date -use paper plates, plastic forks, etc.

so to say this place is horrible is the least I could do... This place is a mess! They have cockroaches big and small crawling all over the silverware so please beware what you eat with because that is so unsanitary. A couple of friends I work with got some coupons from them to get $5.00 complimentary meal. Second, they kept a girl I worked with's credit card on file... And charged her fifty dollars the day after she bought her food from there. Who does that? And on top of that they mess up your order and there are really rude. I would not recommend this place. How do you know you're not eating cockroach legs or shells in your pizza? Gross right?

I'm going to give this place a solid 4 stars. I ordered delivery. They told me 45 mins, it actually came in about 30 mins I ordered a large pizza cooked well done and crispy, which they did. I also ordered wings, with hot sauce on the side, which they also did. i got what i asked and paid for, so i am happy with that. Food was pretty good. It didn't blow me away, that almost never happens in Vegas due to the mostly non-discerning folks who live here. Most people here are really into chains, which personally i despise. therefore there's not a whole lot of collective demand for stuff to be exceptional here. but it's all good. i will probably order from here again.

My family and I were looking for a new place to try pizza as we had pizza burn out from our usual spots. I found the Pizza Company here, through Yelp, and since it's not far from my house I decided to give it a try. We ordered online using Eat24 (I guess that's the only way unless you go to the actual store). It was super easy to order and pay and there was even a spot to leave a tip. We ordered half pepperoni/olives and half sausage/mushrooms along with the meatball sliders since another reviewer said they were good. The food came hot and was all around good. The pizza wasn't smothered in sauce, which I liked, and the meatball sliders were yummy. I would definitely eat here again.

This place is wicked awesome! I am from New York and am constantly on a good pizza hunt. I have been all over town and this place is in my top three. Add to it that I can't have milk/cheese as I'm allergic. Pizza Company has me covered! Their vegan pizza is to DIE for. They use Daiya cheese, which is a really well respected vegan alternative. My boyfriend and I also ordered the meatball sliders. Which were AMAZING. They come on sliced/toasted garlic knots. WHAT?! My boyfriend also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. He kept commenting that it wasn't a dish he would order in a restaurant since we are italian and often make it at home, but the meatballs were so fantastic he just had to try this staple italian dish. The food was incredible. Please come here. We want this restaurant a long and healthy life. Joey, the owner, is a gem and deserves much success.

It was our business's first time ordering with this company for lunch. We ended up ordering 3 pizzas : the white pizza, the works, and the spicy BBQ. The pizza was NOT GOOD at all. The chicken was extremely SALTY. The vegetables all tasted not fresh. The whole pizzas must have been sitting for awhile because they tasted old. For a first time customer this was not a good thing. So we called and talked to the owner Joey to let him know. All he said was "sorry but a company ordered the same thing u did and they loved it and our pizza is good so I don't know what you are saying." Our total came to $46 and I requested to be refunded $23 because of our experience. He said "I'm not gonna do that because our pizza is good." First off this is NOT how the owner of the company should handle a customer at all. You do not state over that it's good pizza and that another company loved it. Maybe they got the good pizza he was talking about but we didn't. Also as the OWNER NOT knowing how to handle a situation like this is unacceptable. He should've said sorry how can I fix it for you so that our company can be one that u recommend again. Instead he chose to argue and be rude! I would NEVER EVER EAT HERE AGAIN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GROSS PIZZA PLACE TO ANYONE EVER! The sad part is I never thought you could mess up pizza but Joey and the Pizza Company proved that they for sure can!

This place is great! I mainly do delivery from them but their food is amazing!!!! I order off the vegan menu and love all of it! Currently I am munching on the vegan baked ziti! They went the extra mile and made me garlic knots that were also vegan! Amazing food and great customer service! Can't go wrong!!!

First time to the Pizza Company while on a business trip on a Friday for the local Arms Gun show. Had a 12" margherita pizza and had them add a few mushrooms (small up-charge on price), as well. Noticed on the Yelp photos that the pizza were not "burnt"...so I knew to ask the staff to burn mine a bit. Pizza is just not pizza unless you have some charring at the perimeter and the bottom of the crust. It ads that burnt, smoked taste. The crushed tomato sauce was excellent, fresh cheese and mushrooms are also excellent. Basil is added the pizza comes out of the oven. Pizza was great. I did a take-out and walked the 2-3 minutes back to the nearby Hampton Inn. Staff was very friendly and wanted to make sure they did it right. Before my pizza was boxed, they had me look it over. The place is quaint, smallish..but they have enough seating for 20+ folks. Clean and charming and quiet enough to have friends and be able to hear to talk. Also got a piece of their tiramisu cake...which was also very, very good. I let it come to room temp. before eating it. When back in Las Vegas, I will make the Pizza Co. my place for pizza cravings !

Not bad at all. This is our first time here but we will be back. Glad to have a descent, local pizza place nearby. We had their spinach calzone, turkey club and buffalo chicken roll. I am anxious to try other stuff, especially their Vegan pizza. Atmosphere is a little make-shift but You should stop in and try it out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This place is pretty unbeatable for lunch. Their lunch specials range from $3.49 up to $5.99. Today, I picked up a serving of their Spaghetti and Sausage Link special for $3.99. You get a good amount of spaghetti with a whole sausage link--some of it is thinly sliced with the remainder still being in whole sausage form. It also came with a couple of garlic knots on the side. The sauce wasn't mind-blowing, but it was tasty enough. The sausage was well-cooked and had good flavor. They put a ton of sauce in my serving. I almost wish it had less sauce (or more pasta on the side to eat with it). The garlic knots served as a nice vessel for the extra sauce that was left over. Overall, while not the absolute best spaghetti meal I've ever had, the $4 price point is the kicker. The taste to price ratio works in their favor. Minor Update: I went back the next day and got the same lunch special. Strangely enough, it tasted even better, though the sauce was definitely on the greasy side. In any case, this solidifies their 4-star rating for me.

Considering I can't rate it on taste, because it never arrived, I rate it a one on customer service. I called at 8:26pm, the person who took my order seemed hesitant, I guess because they close at 9. However, he took my order and told me it would take 24 minutes. Well it never showed up. No one tried called me and I called the restaurant multiple times. I'll never have the opportunity to try them, they ruined the. experience for me.

Using Eat24 we just received and ate our first "Delivery" from Pizza Company on Sunset, 89119. The whole family is sitting around with huge bellies and bulging eyes. The food was wonderful. Ordering on line through Eat24 was easy. There were places to ask for extras and change pasta. Our order arrived within the time period provided. Everything was hot and plentiful. #1 16" Margarita Pizza with Pepperoni. We asked for well done. That is how it came with a topping of fresh mozzarella and basil. Luscious, with drippy cheese, and great spices. #2 Sausage and Peppers. The sausages had been saute'd prior to being put with the peppers and onions. They were sliced thin. Each fork full was sausage, peppers (red and green bell) and some onion. It was wonderful. Mixed in was Ziti and a great "juice" or sauce that was light and not "tomatoey". #3 Spaghetti and Meatballs. Yup, four regular sized meatballs. They, like the sausage had been saute'd prior to going in the sauce. Thick tomato sauce and instead of spaghetti We asked for capellini. It was a wonderful meal split between two kids and one dog. We did order a couple extra meatballs to insure all three were happy. #4 Chicken Parmesan with Capellini. I ordered the extra chicken by checking the box when I ordered. There was enough chicken to feed a school of piraña. I ate until full and there is still enough for a lunch tomorrow. The salads that came with the dinner were cool, crisp, and eye appealing. The italian and the Balsamic dressings were perfect for the salads and with our meals. Garlic knots, dried pepper flakes and cheese for sprinkling were supplied for us all. This meal was absolutely perfect. We will be ordering here again, and again, and again. Pizza Company 2275 E. Sunset, 89119.

I am staying at the Hampton Inn just around the corner from the Pizza Company. I walled over last night. It is located next to an old Las Vegas strip center (which contains the Village Pub with it's excellent fish and chips). Pizza Company makes pizza the old fashioned, New York, thin crust well done, good sauce way. The taste is fantastic and the prices better than reasonable. My name is Tony so fuggedaboudit! Order from Pizza Company!

This is the WORST pizza ever!!! It gave my grandmother food poisoning and she had to be taken to the hospital. These people NEVER getting business from us again and I'm going to tell people NOT to eat. They wouldn't even give us a refund.

Went for the first time today for the Monday lunch special (99cent slice+drink) and the pizza was quite yummy. We threw in an order of garlic knots and polished them off with a smile. We dined in. Yes, it's just a hole in the wall, no atmosphere, but we were in-and-out in under half an hour. You can't beat that. We plan on trying a specialty pizza for dinner next time. Very nice staff.

I've been getting stuff from this joint maybe once or twice a month now over the past 3 months. The pizzas are still good (consistently) but I think their pastas are gross now. Chicken parmesan was a big miss with worst breaded flat chicken ever and their alfredo was wayyyyy too garlicky. I love their chicken fingers and it's now my favorite thing to order. I'm wondering how slow the business is because the ranch sauces I was given were labeled "9/27" but it was definitely from 9/2 with the 7 added just today with a different pen. Not to mention it was pretty watery.

This is my FAVORITE pizza place in vegas. And when I saw it only had 3 and a half star, I created a yelp account to review them. The pizza is fantastic, always fresh and delicious. The staff is nice and remembers me and my friends even when we hadn't come in to eat for months. The food comes out pretty quick for being made on the spot and they have a lot of food items on their menu besides pizza. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Whoo hoo!!!!! VEGAN PIZZA AND ENTREES :) Vegan pizza with Daiya cheese and up to 3 veggies, vegan baked zita with Daiya, vegan calzone. Very nice, friendly and knowledgeable counterhelp. Only drawback is they don't offer vegan pizza by the slice. Wish they would do so as well as offering "meat" options such as vegan pepperoni, chicken etc. I got a small (8" 4 slice) green pepper olives and mushrooms. It only took about 10 minutes to bake it. It smelled wonderful on the drive home; tasted wonderful when I ate it. Sauce is not an overwhelming tomatoey taste which is great, as I can't stand tomatoes. Would be nice i they could develop a vegan dessert (cannolli or cheesecake). I will be back.

This is a great place to order from. The antipasto salad is awesome with lots of meat and cheese. Best home made meatballs I have had. Pizza and garlic knots are good. I have also tried the eggplant parmesan. The food is always Hot when it arrives. I also love the service!!

We were staying at the nearby Hampton Inn and needed a place to eat that didn't require a car. Fortunately, Pizza Company was just 3 blocks away. We ordered their "unlimited pizza" which lets you pick any or all of their toppings. A good deal and the pizza was made entirely from scratch. Nice crispy crust and a generous helping of toppings. It was served piping hot from the oven. We also ordered their Greek salad and it was loaded with kalamata olives and feta cheese. The owner and his helper were really friendly too. Definitely worth visiting again.

Not bad. We went there while waiting to renew passport for our daughter. Food was pretty good, though not very fast (guess you can't be with fresh-made-from-scratch). Wings were tasty and the calamari was okay, but it was on greens which quickly got soggy and hence not very edible. (Don't recommend calamari to go...) Their specialty seems to be delivery, but they do have places to sit (almost as if an after thought..."Hm. Guess we should put up a some tables and chairs to sit on...") Guys were nice, but it seems that only one person takes orders and if he's on the phone, then you don't get helped. Kind of weird set up. Needs work on system for taking orders. They seem new at the restaurant business... Food quality was good, but the "delivery" wasn't great (see comment about calamari above). Haven't tried pastas and such, but probably a good place to get food for football watching parties. Not a lot of sitting room for parties there.

This is by far one of the best pizzeria's here in Vegas! Not only is the food really good but it's also very reasonably priced. They have something for everyone, even vegans and vegetarians! They're pizza is fast and good every time I go. The service is also impressive and everyone is always very friendly. I recommend this pizza restaurant to almost everyone I talk to!

I've dropped into The Pizza Company from time to time over the last year or two - always a wonderful experience. I met a friend of mine here for lunch today. I always enjoy my visits here, and marvel at the fact it isn't totally packed in here. The owner is always there, and is always friendly and attentive. They have a rockin' thin crust pizza here, that is among the best in Vegas, and their wings ARE THE BEST I've had in Vegas. This is a small place, only 6 or 7 tables, but the atmosphere is very comfortable. As a few of the tips say, you can subscribe to their text alerts and receive specials and promotions via text. That's what I took advantage of today - their Dinner for 2 (even though it was lunch): A large 2-topping pizza, 6 wings, and 6 garlic knots for $14.99 - this is a limited-time special, but they offer similar specials via text alert all the time. The only minus is that I wish they offered fountain drinks instead of (or along with) canned and bottled drinks. If this place was more convenient for me, I would be here all the time. At any rate, it is well worth a drive across town to enjoy their food!

I have been to this establishment numerous times. I have tried their pizza compared to others and I keep going back. The crust is amazing, chewy on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside. Just how I adore it. Their pizza with only mushrooms is my go to favorite. I also like the buffalo chicken. I have not had a bad pie here. Joey and Victor are always in a good mood, kidding around, having fun. They like what they do. The atmosphere is always uplifting. So I will continue to drive the 15 miles from my house to the Pizza Company to get my fix.

I went here because a friend recommended the place. Using 90210 iZigg services we got the free small cheese pizza offer. Since I was on that end of town I figured why not try it out! I'm all about free! SInce the place smelled amazing when we walked in I decided to be a good customer and also order the garlic knots. I had to laugh when the owner said he would be making them fresh, did we mind waiting 10 or 15 minutes? FRESH GARLIC KNOTS? OK, force me to wait! The cheese pizza of course was finished before the knots, so we decided to sit there and eat it. Upon discovering just how YUMMY the pizza was I promptly went back to the counter and ordered a large pepperoni to go! No way was I going to drive nearly 30 miles back home and NOT have any pizza with me! A gentleman came in while we were waiting for the large pie and he ordered a SLICE! I did not even notice that they sold pizza by the slice, but my daughter says that's because I am old and won't wear my glasses! ANYWAY! He stood there eating his slice and when the owner asked if he would like to sit he said NO, I don't live anywhere near here and just come to eat this one slice! It's that good! (His words.) Well, of course that made me happy! I was sure I would be glad I took that large pizza home with me! I must confess, even the next day, reheated pizza was delicious! The garlic knots could have used just a touch more gartlic for my taste and I didn't care for the marinara dipping sauce (too sweet) but the overall experience was worth it! Highly recommend this place to anyone on the south end of town. We did also enjoy watching the planes land since we are right across the street from McCarran's runway! I may not drive clear across the planet for this place, but anytime I am out south I will definitely stop in! Oh and I almost forgot the prices were quite reasonable. Like I said earlier I am all about FREE and getting the large pepperoni for only $8.95 was a bargain!

I have been going to Pizza Company about once a week since this place has opened, and can say I have never been disappointed. Location is very convienent to many airport hotels. Menu is diverse, but find myself always coming back to the medium pepperoni. The crust makes this pizza. Crunchy on the edges and chewy in the center. The owner Joey is ALWAYS friendly and welcoming when I walk through the door. Personal tip... Order pizza... Run down to the 7-11 for some beer and by the time you come back it'll be hot, fresh, and ready to go. A nice end of the day when you're away or at home.

Visiting from Napa CA we stayed at La Quinta Inn. Lady at the desk suggested Pizza Company around the corner. We shared small cheese pizza, chicken Parmesan sandwich and sausage and pepper rustica. All made from scratch and you can tell. Nice folks and great value. You will not go away hungry but will be smiling!

  • Tammy M.

My friend and I have been wanting to try this place for a while because of a Groupon I had and it is a good spot to watch the planes come in at sunset. We tried a little bit of everything. We ordered two medium pizzas one Margarita and a Hawaiian the crust was just perfect not thin or thick and crispy. The house salads were good with their homemade vinaigrette dressing. It just needed some more vegetables and less onions. The wings were nice and hot with lots of sauce as well as the garlic knots. The knots could of used more garlic, but don't let this discourage yourself from ordering them. I love garlic, so it is never too much. Over all the food was down to earth, the staff was accommodating, the place was clean, and the ladies bathroom was spotless. All this will have me returning again even though I live across town. It is just a simple pizza whole in the wall place with good food. Oh they just need an ice machine too for the cans of soft drinks or a fountain machine. All in good time!

the owner Joey is a great guy as it gets! He takes pride in his ingredients and recipes! does what he can to charge good prices for good quality recipes! I haven't said no to almost anything there! the pizza seriously is new york style using the grande cheese! his sandwiches are excellent! still haven't had a chance to try his pasta since i always eat it at home haha, but i bet its great! Love his garlic knots as well! Its worth checking out and going back over and over!

Their $8.99 pizza deal is FANTASTIC. A co-worker bought one of these for lunch, and I've been hooked since. I've also tried their cheeseburger. There's a bit of spice, combined with a tillamook cheddar, that is wonderful. My wife loved the tiramisu. This is not your average storefront pizza joint. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!!!

  • Jonah L.

Very mediocre food and bad service. We got there around 8:45PM and it looked like it was about to close. When we went to order (we were dining in), the guy taking our order seemed to act as if I weren't standing right there waiting to order. After he realized I wasn't going away, he reluctantly took my order. I got the all meat pizza with garlic knots and wings. Pizza was ok, mostly because the cheese and salami were good. The meatball was just awful and almost ruined the pizza. Only lots of ranch and crushed pepper saved this one from complete failure. Wings were good but nothing special that I couldn't make myself at home with a bag of frozen Tyson wings and a bottle of Frank's hot sauce. Last but DEFINITELY least, the knots were totally burnt on the bottom! The guys working in the back didn't even wait for us to finish leaving the building before turning off the lights. With that said, I highly recommend you do not eat at this place unless you already got the Groupon like I did... In which case, just get it to carry out because the service is unacceptable.

This place has great pizza and pasta. The garlic knots are sooooooooo good. The pizza has great taste and I love the thin crust. We have tried almost all the items on the menu and have been happy with everything! This is a must try pizza and pasta place. I love the low cost lunch specials it really helps so I can go there more often. The owner is super nice and the staff is always friendly.

wow. this is the worst place I ever order food from. 1st the food came cold, & when spoke to the manager Joey he said - WE ARE TRYING OUR BEST, then he insulted me, & was as unprofessional as a manager could be. He thinks making excusing & insulting people is part of saying sorry. I would tell everybody do not order from this place, as long as this guy is in charge. He is a joke of a mamager.
